Sandi & Shane's Maui Wedding

Here's a small video & photographs from Sandi & Shane's wedding. I had such a great time at this wedding. Dan Fishter photographed for me as a second shooter & he got several great video clips during the evening. I was able to surprise Sandi with a slide show of images that also has some short video clips of their wedding that they weren't expecting. This wedding was at Makena Cove (Secret beach / Wedding Beach) in Wailea Maui. The flowers were done by Bella Bloom & they did a great job as ussual.

Stylized Wedding Shoot

Here's some images from a stylized wedding photography shoot I did last month in Wailea Maui. This was my first stylized wedding shoot & I really enjoyed it! The model for the shoot was Kelly Manor who is one of the best models I've worked with on Maui. We did the shoot at the keawala'i church in Wailea and then finished at the beach right next to it which is infront of the Makena Resort. We went with a simple but beautifull wedding dress from Betsey Johnson. The makeup & hair was donated by Gina Carter from Lily Moon Salon and she did an amazing job! I hope to do more stylized wedding photography in the future. However, I need to work with a coordinator on the next one, as organizing weddings isn't my specialty.

I moved back to Maui from Portland OR & will really miss shooting in a studio. However, I'm really excited to start rebranding my business back to Wedding photography & apply what I learned from fashion photography in the studio to my wedding photography style.

Maui wedding photographer is going to be dedicated as a blog for Michael Long Photography. I have a normal website already up to show my portfolio & wedding photography pricing for Maui etc. However, I yet to have a blog specific to maui wedding photography & figured since I'm a photographer in Maui that I should make one. Instead of having the wedding photography blog on my normal website I decided to use maui wedding photographer as the blog since it's a great domain that I wouldn't be using otherwise.

So, welcome to Maui wedding photographer - the blog. If you're reading this now than I apologize. I'm just putting in random content relating to maui and wedding photography at the moment to see how Google responds to this domain. This will soon be replaced with a photographer introduction that is much more suitable for maui weddings & a photography blog.

Welcome to maui wedding photographer. Here are some FAQ's so you can get a quick idea of the services I offer:

Wedding Photography Pricing: $600-$2,400

PhotoShop: Yes! I photoshop every picture to ensure it provide the best photography I can. I spend at least 5 min to one hour with each photo in Adobe Photoshop CS5 & Photomatix Pro.

DVD with Rights: Yes! You will be given all finished wedding pictures on a DVD along with a copyright release form so that you can make as many of your own prints as you want.

Quality: I love my photography but everyone has a preferred style, you can view a couple sample photos above to get a feel for my style. I'm always upgrading gear, studying photos, and striving to make every shoot better then the last. The reason I do wedding photography full time is because I can't think of a more enjoyable job. I love photography and I love weddings.

As you can see, this specific website hasn't been around forever and is in the process of getting a fairly large facelift.
